  • TESTING NOTE:
    Intense ruby‐red in color. The nose of fers ripe strawberries elegantly combined with spices such as pepper along with subtle sweet and toasted notes from the barrel aging. The palate is firm but very silky, with elegant, well‐structured tannins, tremendous volume, and apersistent finish.

  • CLIMATE:
    Stable, hot and dry summers and short, mild winters. The main period of rain fall is between April and September, with anannual average of 330mm. Hot during day and cold at night, the average temperature does not exceed the 14°C.

  • SOIL:
    Alluvial, well rooted, with porosity and drainage. Flat, rich in mineral, loamy‐clay eyandmuddy texture, good per meability. It is irrigated by water coming from snow thaw.

  • FOOD PAIRING SUGGESTION:
    Ideal serving with grilled white or red meats with simple, lightly seasoned side dishes. It also pairs very well with porkchops, steak, turkey breast, and pasta.
