Alexis Lichine Bordeux Rouge AOC Wine


  • Designation: RED BORDEAUX

  • Vintage: 2010

  • Grape variety(ies): Merlot 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%, Cabernet Franc 10%.

  • Origin: Entre Deux Mers and Blayais Bourgeais.

  • Soil: Clay and limestone hillsides.

  • Vinification:Mechanical harvest. The grapes are de-stalked, crushed and undergo a cold maceration for 48 hours, followed by alcoholic fermentation at 28ºC. Oxygen is added (a process known as “cliquage”) followed by a long period in vats. The wine is aged in tanks and is racked quarterly.

  • Characteristics:
    - Colour: Deep ruby red.
    - Nose: Powerful, elegant and dominated by aromas of red berries.
    - Palate: A round and fleshy wine with velvety tannins.

  • Recommendations: Serve with meats in sauce, grilled meats or any cheeses.

  • Serving condition in C°: 16-18ºC
